The Philippine Institute of Architects – Greater Matutum Section unveiled the Institute logo marker along Filipino-American Friendship Avenue in General Santos City, South Cotabato. It can be seen in the vicinity of the General Santos International Airport.
The marker, as carved by a local artist, symbolizes the presence of the Section in the city that creates public awareness about the PIA, builds positive image support to the section, inspire potential collaborations, and attract possible candidates for membership.
